Perhaps the most talked about and well-known battle of the Civil War, Battery C was historical positioned in the Peach Orchard as a unit of supporting reserves. Although the history spared us from the action in this battle, today's battery is a very active unit in each reenactment.
In a nearby location to the original field of battle, the battery joins Union forces in a large-scale pitched battle in commemoration of the historic battle that shifted the tides of war.
Expending more than 120 rounds in a weekend, under hot, humid conditions is the norm during a Gettysburg reenactment.
We look forward to the next Gettysburg Reenactment we attend.
